Ultra Black Friday?

Ultra Black Friday is a month-long holiday event (Dec 5 – Christmas) inside The Culture Connection App where Black-owned businesses offer exclusive discounts, showcase products or services, and gain massive visibility to thousands of Black professionals, students, and community members.

It combines:

  • Auctions

  • Targeted promotions

  • Social media features

  • A business analytics dashboard

It’s designed to drive sales, foot traffic, and brand awareness during the biggest shopping season of the year.

How do customers find my business?

Through both in-app and external placements:

How does my business participate?

There are two ways to participate:

Option 1: Offer a Discount

Provide a Culture Connection–exclusive discount (recommended 20% off) for 30 days.
Works both online and in-store.

Option 2: Donate a Product or Service for the Auction

Donate an item to be auctioned in-app.
You receive one month of free advertising across the app + our social media.

You can do either — or both.

How do the promo codes work?

The Culture Connection app generates unique discount codes for each user daily.

This means:

  • Customer their “Ultra Black Card”

  • You enter your personal Business code

  • Input price to POS system with your agreed upon discount

What is the auction and how does it work?

If you donate a product or service (ex: facial, haircut, photoshoot, consulting session, gift box), users bid inside the app during the event.

Businesses benefit from:

  • Free 1-month ad placement
